My name is David Russell, and I am a photographer in the Burlington Vermont area.
My interest in photography began at age seven when my grandmother gave me a Kodak Brownie camera, which I used until I was twelve. I have been a street photographer for over forty years, capturing "moments in time" in cities all over the East Coast.
I also enjoy portraiture. It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul, and to capture a good portrait is to capture the soul of the individual.
My goal as an artist, whether it is street photography or portraits, is to capture a moment of time, a place in history, and document it.
