David Russell is a native Vermont abstract expressionist artist and a fine art photographer, based in Burlington.
I have been a photographer for over 40 years, most of those shooting street and documentary photography, but more recently venturing into portraits and fine art.
As an abstract expressionist artist, I enjoy the process of digitally creating beautiful abstract paintings. Most of these are created freehand using photoshop and paint programs, a few are from a photograph I have taken for the purpose of creating the abstract, keeping the important rules of composition, form, and color.
Digital art is legitimate art; and as such, it is a work of beauty and deserves to be appreciated.
